Skibbens is a watercolor artist who provided
kids with a real time demonstration of this technique. Hugh conducted
six separate workshops during the day, allowing the children to attend
the assembly in small groups of about 75 kids. A new water color painting
was created during each of the six sessions.
Mr. Skibbens donated two paintings for the upcoming Westbrook/Glen Grove Dinner and Auction on Friday, Feb. 13. The art teachers at both schools are currently incorporating what was discussed during this assembly into the art curriculum over the next couple weeks. |
