Principal’s Report: Lori Hinton reported for WB.
The students enjoyed the performance of “Call Me Graham” a wonderful play about Alexander Graham Bell.
Winter progress monitoring is taking place. The results of these assessments help the teachers plan for instruction and monitor our school-wide goals in literacy.
Westbrook is planning on having expanded classrooms in ‘08/’09. Mobil units are being considered.
The Westbrook Green Club will meet on January 17th.

The students enjoyed the King Arthur Cultural Arts program and the visiting author Robert D. San Souci.
NWEA testing is currently taking place.
Treasurer’s Report: Sue Donaubauer reported.
The checking balance is $73,111.09
Committee Reports:
-Great Lakes Scrip – This program netted $1,412.00. 834 gift cards were sold. We sold a lot of Starbucks cards.
-Yearbook – Please send in your photos. They must be submitted by February 22nd.
-Amazing Minds – The 2nd session of Amazing Minds has started at Westbrook. The students are studying Chicago, Italy and Flight in an interactive, hands on setting. There are three full classes running and a waiting list. There will be one more session that will begin after Spring Break.
-Environmental – Lisabeth Rohlck met with the GG Student Council and they decided to focus on Waste-Free Snacks. She will be meeting with the WB Green Club on 1/17/08.
-Dinner Dance – Invitations will go out the week of January 21st. Tickets are $60.00. There will be a DJ, Mechanical Bull and a Photographer. The event is February 29th.
