Volunteer Descriptions
Room Parent	Serve as coordinator with the teacher for parties, chaperones for field trips and initiates the phone tree for any school closings
Room Parent Coordinator	Coordinate and oversee room parents for each school - two are needed, one at WB and one at GG
Teacher's Luncheon	Provide a dish to pass for the teacher's luncheon held during Teacher Appreciation Week in May
Picture Person	Prints and information are provided as you introduce different areas of art to children at intervals set up by the art coordinator - - @ WB
Health/Safety	Organize volunteers to help with school safety and head lice checks after each vacation break Screening assist with hearing and vision screenings
Student Pictures	Work with photographer assisting classes to the gym on a timely basis for class and student pictures - WB and GG in the Fall
Fall Wrapping Paper Fund	Raiser help with orders and distribution of wrapping paper
Spring Dinner Dance Fund	Raiser help with donations and organizing dinner dance
Book Fair	Help in set up and sales of the fair, WB - Fall, GG- Spring
Hot Dog Dinner	Set up, sell tickets, serve food, cleanup - WB - Fall
Ice Cream Social	Set up, sell tickets, serve ice cream, clean up - Usually in March
Parent Breakfast	Set up, sell tickets, serve food (milk, juice, donuts, bagels) For parents and students
Westbrook	Fall (usually with Book Fair)
School Yearbook	Help organize class pictures and any other pictures for book
