Students who learn these words have a good base for beginning reading.

spelling program for grades 1-5 that uses text-to-speech technology
and phonetically correct interactive characters. Students listen to
words being used in sentences and then can type or use the site's
graphic keyboard to spell the words. Teachers (or parents) can input
their weekly spelling words and the students can use this independently.
