Lunar Calendar- days distinguished by the moon’s cycle.

Red Envelopes- decorated red envelopes with crisp bills of money are given to relatives, mostly young people in the family. In Korean culture, the money is placed in silk pouches instead

Lion Dance- a dance with a decorative lion costume that is supposed to ward off the evil or bad luck from the previous year.

Red Clothing- the color red is meant to symbolize prosperity and good luck
