What is Passover?

Date: 15th day of Nisan, first month of Aviv (spring)

Location: all over the world by the Jewish community

The Jewish community commemorates their freedom from Egypt during ancient times. It is named “Passover,” as in the story of the 10 plagues, the final and most terrible plague passed over the Jewish people and they were spared.
